Remember, Absences Add Up! Three (3) tardies equal one (1) absence. They add up quickly! Missing class unnecessarily puts your child behind and can make it difficult to catch up.

School Begins at 8:30. Students arriving after that time are counted as Tardy. If your child goes to the doctor/dentist, please be sure to get a note and send in with your child when he/she returns to school. If your child is going to be absent, call the office and leave a message.

Students missing an excessive amount of school days (10 per semester), or accumulating an excessive amount of tardies (3 tardies = 1 absence) are subject to being reported to the Stephens County District Attourney in accordance to the state law regarding truancy and chronic absence.
